Cooling my heels

Since I won’t hear anything back from Whitechapel for at least a week, and since everyone else in the whole world is off next week and not entertaining employment queries, I think I’ll go up and spend the holiday with my folks.  See you when I get back.

Cautiously optimistic

Got a call today from Christopher Patel, research director with The Whitechapel Foundation.  Really nice guy.  We were able to get into some detail about my background and about the Foundation and things sounds pretty good.
Apparently they are a legit operation (founded in the UK, historically very scholarly, trying to upgrade their scope and methods) [...]

This class has turned out to be everything I thought it would be, and a hell of a lot more.  Especially in terms of time obliteration.  This class eats time like a Great White shark stopping off at seal beach on the way home from having his stomach staples removed.
