My name is Ethan Grant and I am a recent graduate (2007) of Vanderbilt University. While at that grand ‘ole southern institution I earned a Masters Degree in Philosophy. This, along with my previously awarded B.A. in Comparative Religion and Social Anthropology, has prepared me for a long and illustrious career as a Jeopardy contestant.
I currently live in Nashville, TN, having developed a great fondness during my several years at the Big V for the city and the people who live here. I grew up in Evansville, Indiana, and if you have spent much time there you will understand that Nashville is similar enough while being extremely different in ways that really count.
I am trying to limit the myriad ways by which I can waste time on the Internet, so if you would like to contact me please use the following:

Since I am still rather young and (more or less) a product of my times, I will use the rest of this ‘about’ page to mention a couple of the usuals:
I like to read. A lot. Anyting. (the astute among you will have already guessed this)
I like most music, especially European electronic music and early 90’s Industrial. I particularly dislike Rap, Hip Hop, and Country music. (this last is unfortunate, considering)
I have a particular fondness for the works of Toulouse Lautrec and Edgar Degas.
As of September 2007 I am an associate researcher with the Whitechapel Foundation. I am now officially a young Mulder without a gun. Or a badge. Or a hot, yet skeptical, sidekick. Or a chain smoking nemesis (yet).
